History of the Benson Families Wallace P. Benson was a farm laborer in 1860 working on the Jesse Miller Farm. He was 29 years old when he joined the 36th Illinois Volunteer Regiment. His brother was E. H. Wallace who owned 360 acre farm north of Algonquin. E.H. was also daguerreotype which is process of developing pictures using silver coated metals. |
